Young Tipperary Native selected for Ireland U15 Cricket Team

Young Tipperary Native selected for Ireland U15 Cricket Team

6th July 2015 in Horse & Jockey Local News

Congratulations to Aaron Cawley who has been selected to play in the Ireland U15 Cricket Team. Aaron is the first person from Co Tipperary to get selected to play at the U15s level. Ireland will compete in the ICC Europe Trophy at Rugby School, England, from August 3rd to 8th, where they look to defend the title Ireland won at the same venue last year.

Aaron was voted Munster Player of the Year 2014 by the Munster Cricket Union.

Aaron is the Son of Pat and Michelle Cawley from The Horse and Jockey Thurles. Aaron started his Cricket career with Thurles Cricket Club, he recently moved to Cork County where he opens the bowling for their 1sts when playing in Munster. Aaron has impressed the Cricket world in Ireland with his Cricket skills, that he is now playing at adult senior level even though he is only 15 years old.
