The Festival organisers plan to hold the event over three days beginning on Friday 21st August, with busking on the streets on Cashel on Friday, local bands and musicians playing on a stage on the plaza on Saturday 22nd, and arts, crafts and food stalls in Dominic’s Court Abbey on Sunday 23rd August.  Many of the current committee and volunteers were involved in organising Cashel for Africa in 1985.

The Cashel Rocks Festival 2015 committee look’s forward to bringing Cashel town to life for this 3 day event and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Trip to Tipp Celebrating 20 Years of Success

Over the last 20 years, The Trip to Tipp has steadily grown into an established part of the annual cycling calendar attracting a significant number of cyclists throughout Ireland every year.

The event is run over two days and consists of routes to suit all levels of cyclists. All proceeds from the weekend will go directly towards NCBI which makes available services to over 224,000 people in Ireland living with sight loss. This year, all cyclists will receive a goody bag, refreshments and certificate of completion. We also have a special 20th anniversary cycle jersey available to buy for just 20 euro online or 25 euro on the day. Event details and schedule

This year’s Trip to Tipp Weekend of Cycling will take place from Sarsfields GAA Club in Thurles on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August. Parking will be available at the GAA Centre over both days.

On Saturday, the 70KM Three Counties Tour commences at 12am, while the 14KM Family Fun Cycle commences at 12.30pm.

On Sunday, the 140KM Grand Tipperary Challenge commences at 9.45am. The 80KM Scenic Tour of Tipperary and 100KM Glen of Aherlow Challenge both commence at 10.15am.

Why not partake in the Charity Walk With Alex with all proceeds going to the Jack & Gill and Bumbleance Children’s Ambulance Fund. The charity walk will take place in Glengoole, Thursday 16th July @ 7pm. Registration will take place @6pm in the Millennium Resource Centre Glengoole Village. Raffle and music with refreshments in the Millennium Centre afterwards. Everyone is welcome and children may walk once accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.
